Hey, I'm Jason Finestone, a Toronto-based freelance writer and restaurant consultant with an insatiable lust for new edible discoveries.
I am a world traveler intent to explore obscure local street food, satisfying noodle soups, and to expand my collection of hot sauces. I am equally enamoured with the diverse culinary culture that abounds in Toronto, and use it as fuel for both my personal and professional interests.
As a freelance writer I specialize in food-centric content. I believe that behind every dish there is a story – a reflection of who created it and where they come from. I believe that food itself is the most profound universal language – an accessible lens that brings culture, history, community, and circumstance in to focus. As a copywriter and content writer, I have worked with a diverse set of clients from small businesses to large multinational corporations. My strength is creating engaging and meaningful content for these companies with an audience-focused approach.
